According to the movie, The Prestige, what makes a piece of magic great is not making something disappear, you’ve got to bring it back! Well, on June 26, 2007, I made magicforthemorningafter disappear… today I have brought it back! And better than ever!

You’ve probably already noticed some changes around here, actually some pretty major upgrades. There will be more to come in addition to more frequent updates. Since last June, there is much to talk about so get ready and hold on to ya butts!

Almost magic: Theremin Style cirque 1919

Technically, I don’t know if this is actually “magic” and the music isn’t Pete Yorn but it is really freaking cool! If you’re not familiar with the crazy instrument in the video, it’s called a “Theremin” and was actually invented way back in the year 1919. Look it up on wikipedia if you want to learn more. Coins, a glass, and Vegas

Well, we made it back from Las Vegas in one piece and fortunately with more money than we expected. Granted we still came back with less than we went with just a little more than I thought we would. Anyways, if you haven’t been to Las Vegas, it really is as fun as they say it is. All the naked girls and bright lights aside, let me say, there are some awesome magicians in Vegas. In fact I learned this beautiful piece of magic while we were there. In case you’re wondering, that’s a US Half Dollar and a Mexican Centavo. The half dollar isn’t hard to find but I had to go to a small coin shop at the shops of Planet Hollywood for the Mexican piece. Anyways, crazy… it goes right through the bottom of the glass!
